Research-Use Policy

1. Research-use-only designation

The products are research chemicals / reference materials. They are not drugs, medicines, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or medical devices. They have not been evaluated or approved by any regulatory authority for any use in humans or animals, and are labelled and sold for research use only (RUO), consistent with U.S. research-use-only norms and equivalent frameworks elsewhere. No statement on this site has been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any comparable authority.

2. Not for human or animal use

The products are not intended, and must not be used, for human or animal consumption, administration, or application of any kind, nor for any diagnostic or therapeutic purpose. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.

3. Eligibility and self-attestation

Products are sold only to qualified purchasers — institutions, laboratories, and researchers — who are 21 or older and acquiring the products for legitimate research. At account creation and at checkout you must accept a research-use declaration, which we record with a timestamp as an auditable compliance record.

4. Prohibited uses

You must not, and must not permit any third party to:

• administer the products to, or ingest, inject, or otherwise use them on or in, any human or animal;
• use them for clinical, diagnostic, or therapeutic purposes, or in the compounding or manufacture of any medicine, food, supplement, or cosmetic;
• resell or supply them to any person for a prohibited use, or to any person who is not an eligible research buyer;
• remove, obscure, or alter research-use labelling; or
• misrepresent the nature, status, or intended use of the products.

5. Regulatory responsibility

You are solely responsible for determining and complying with all laws, regulations, and institutional policies applicable to your acquisition, import, possession, storage, use, and disposal of the products. Regulation of research chemicals varies by jurisdiction — including between U.S. states and between EU member states — and some jurisdictions restrict specific compounds. You confirm that your intended acquisition and use are lawful where you are located, and you must not order if they are not.

6. No medical or dosing information

We do not provide, and this site does not contain, any dosing, administration, or health-outcome information, and no such information should be inferred from any product listing, specification, or communication.

7. Handling and safety

Products must be handled only by appropriately qualified personnel using good laboratory practice and appropriate protective measures. Consult the applicable Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before handling. You are responsible for the safe storage and lawful disposal of the products.

8. Enforcement

We may refuse, cancel, or limit any order, and may decline to supply any customer, where we consider that this policy or applicable law is not or may not be satisfied.
